More ATM Scamming

The site Krebs on Security shows another ingenious duo that got caught (filmed) installing card skimmers.  Although the activities of one guy are off-camera, it’s easy to tell that he’s probably installing a card reader on top of the actual card slot where a debit or credit card would be inserted.

Meanwhile, the accomplice is setting up what is probably a camera.  As you can see from the below video, it has been painted to match the grey portion of the ATM.  Ingenious!  They’re leaving nothing to chance.

But, cameras can be used for good or evil, no?  I mean, it was used to catch the guys.
